On May 28, 1989, a birthday party was held at the backyard. It was for Jim Kiss who was blindfolded and escorted by his wife to the open grass. The crowd each carrying a mini-sized pie with their hands circled around Jim and raises the pies whilst singing "Happy Birthday". As they finish their birthday song, Jim's wife removed the blindfold and dashes out before the crowd threw their pies at him by surprise, leaving him covered in a lot of icing.
